Caroline has been teaching at the CAVC English Academy for two years and loves the diversity of learners and courses she teaches. Prior to this, she taught ESOL learners at the college and worked as a Learning and Skills Coach. Caroline has also taught general English and examination classes to children, teenagers and adults at private language schools in both the UK and Spain. She also enjoys teaching drama and has worked with children, teenagers and adults in a variety of settings. Her other hobbies include walking, travelling and dancing like nobody's watching.

Hello, my name is Muhammad Younas. I’ve been teaching English for the last ten years. Teaching English and IELTS has always been my passion. I design and use a wide variety of teaching materials to meet the needs of the learners. I teach students from different backgrounds from beginners to advance level. I have a Master of Education degree from the University of Hull, UK and a Trinity CertTESOL certificate from Trinity College London. Currently, I am doing my PGCE/ProfCE in Post Compulsory Education and Training degree from Cardiff and Vale College. I’m also fluent in three other languages; Urdu, Farsi/Dari, and Hindi. I love reading and writing.

Coming from the nearby Rhondda Valley, Jack started teaching English in Spain, after completing his CELTA Teaching Qualification in Swansea University in 2015. From there, he continued to Peru, to explore the country and further teaching opportunities. He has been working with us since the Summer School of August 2019, and has taught a variety of classes in that time. Jack enjoys football, travelling, and reading.

I qualified as a TEFL teacher in 1992 and then taught around the world for 2 years before returning to Cardiff to complete my Master’s degree and a PGCE. I settled in Cardiff with my family and have now worked at CAVC for over 20 years teaching every level of English from Beginners to Proficiency. I have also taught IELTS for many years and also run bespoke Speaking /Pronunciation and Writing courses during my career. I also enjoy the challenge of teaching online and look forward to the many developments that are happening in education.

I have been involved in teaching and education for over 25 years and have worked and lived in various countries in Europe and also Indonesia, Mozambique and the Caribbean. I have experience in teaching academic and general English to a range of students with very diverse social and cultural backgrounds, which makes my job a pleasure and a joy as I get to meet some very interesting people many of whom have become lifelong friends. In my spare time, I love to go running and swimming and I like to keep myself fit and healthy. I look forward to welcoming you to our Academy.
