With many years’ experience of welcoming international students from around the world, we have a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of international learners and international partners.  

We deliver a wide range of programmes and services including teacher training, English language, academic, vocational and sport programmes. 

In addition, many of our overseas partners send groups of students to spend some time in Cardiff on one of our popular Summer or Winter School Programmes. 

In 2017, CAVC launched an international Campus in Shanghai in partnership with a Chinese Education Group, delivering an IGCSE and AS Level programme together with embedded English language training. Students spend two years in China before progressing to Cardiff for the final A2 year of their programme.  

The first cohort of students progressed onto leading UK universities in September 2019.  Also in this year a  second CAVC international Campus opened in Changzhou with a third site in Pinghu due to open in 2020. Our China network of international Campuses continues to grow with over 150 students enrolled. 

In the Middle East, we have welcomed groups of students from the UAE to study at our world famous International Centre for Aerospace Training (ICAT) for the past 15 years.

Developing sustainable international partnerships is key to our strategy and we are constantly exploring opportunities for further development with like-minded schools, colleges and organisations who share our values and beliefs in the delivery of high quality, student focused programmes of study.
